Economics senior seminar and thesis registration procedure:

Updated senior requirement preference forms for 2009-2010 will be available starting March 26th.  Rising seniors must submit the completed form to Robert O'Connor in the department office either in person or via email starting on that date.  Seminar and thesis sectioning won't take place until this summer, probably the end of May or beginning of June, so students are strongly encouraged to submit their preference form by the end of May.

In the meanwhile, students should pre-register for the seminar or thesis section they wish to enter.   Students can then change sections during the fall program filing period in September if they cannot get into their 1st-choice seminar or thesis section.

 !!!  Major advisers must pay particular attention to advisees registering in seminars or thesis sections during the September program filing period (September 3 to 12, 2008) to ensure they follow the sectioning lists which will have been posted on the dept office door and emailed to faculty and rising seniors during the summer, probably in August.
