Columbia/Barnard
Course Equivalents
The
Barnard Economics Department accepts all Columbia College Economics courses
for credit toward the Economics major requirements. You cannot, however,
take both the Barnard and Columbia versions of equivalent courses for
credit.
The
following courses are equivalent: you will receive credit for only one
course in each category. For example, you may not take both ECON BC3029
and ECON W4321 for credit since these two courses cover the same material.
Consult the Economics Department Chair about any other pair of courses
whose subject matter appears to overlap.
